April 18, 2007 - At 15:45hrs, Central Village, Moosup, Atwood Hose and Plainfield FAST were dispatched to a bedroom fire at 25 Green Hollow Rd. Crews arrived to find a active bedroom fire on the #2 flr. a quick knock down and overhaul prevented this fire from extending. Plainfield FMO is investigating

Canterbury MVA
At around 1540 Canterbury Fire was dispatched to a motor vehicle accident with serious injuries in the area of 245 South Canterbury Rd. QV notified responding units of 1 vehicle split in half, and the occupant ejected. Canterbury Car 93 arrived on scene establishing command, as personnel tended to the injured driver. R-593 with the Windham Medic transported to Backus.

Bozrah Gilman Bros Corp - 3rd Alarm
April 03, 2007 - At 02:48hrs KX dispatched Bozrah with mutual aid from Colchester and Yantic to Gilman Bros Corp on Thomas Rd for a fire. Units arrived to find a heavy smoke condition and the search for the fire began. Crews were able to find a styrofoam fire in the middle of the building. Three 2.5 handlines were deployed but crews were having a hard time extinguishing the fire. A 3rd alarm was transmitted for manpower and a foam trailer from Norwich to help extinguish the fire. Departments involved were Bozrah, Yantic, Colchester,Franklin,Salem, Gardner Lake, Oakdale, East Great Plains, Taftville, Norwich, Mohegan Tribal FAST, and Lyme.
