East Brooklyn 2nd Alarm

BROOKLYN -- Firefighters from five departments battled a fire late Friday afternoon in a home at 93 Day St.
East Brooklyn firefighters were dispatched to the scene at 4:40 p.m. after neighbors reported seeing smoke coming from the building. Shortly after the first officers arrived, they called for additional apparatus from the Mortlake (Brooklyn) and Danielson departments, and a unit from the Williamsville (Rogers) department. The Atwood Hose Co. of Wauregan and the Dayville departments later were sent to the scene. (Photos used with permission by Williamsville Fire Eng Co)
