May 7, 2007, At around 02:25hrs Norwich headquarters and Eng-2 responded to 7 John St for a structure fire. The on duty Captain stated he could see a working fire from HQ. Norwich Crews arrived to find fire showing from the rear of the structure. all occupants were accounted for. A quick and aggressive fire attack helped save this structure. 1 civlian was transported to WWBH for minor burns. The Norwich FMO is investigating.
(Side note: This was the first "significant" fire for the new Eng-2, Sunday morning it had responded to a small fire in the duct work on North Main St and a brush fire. Thanks for the correction Platoon 4. Sorry if this caused any inconviences)![](https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjMk2ruv_nrAO_rtaqE1uDB6O4Luud7sRM-5gwQaimAs-YHmbp9fdmkfc0Jx_mjI9HSC8CtsXiF6RURtPyfe1OTdLI8bg0SiU6gi66CQQZHU6Bm-PhMJ0_cxvFaOxpJ5EmdIRzulg/s320/JohnSt01.jpg)
