Canterbury 2nd Alarm - 62 Wauregan Rd
January 20, 2007 - at 23:16hrs QV dispatched Canterbury and Mortlake fire departments to a structure fire at 62 Wauregan Rd. Canterbury chief Al Lavoie arrived to find fire thru the roof of a single stry ranch on the "D" side. Canterbury Eng-193 and Mortlake Eng-190 arrived and placed two 1 3/4 hoselines in operation thru the front door. Crews were able to knock down the fire but not until it consummed half the roof. Additional assistance from Moosup FAST, Atwood Hose,Central Village and numerous tankers was sent to the scene. The Canterbury FMO is investigating.
